I fabricated this two-finger, hollow-formed ring from brass and silver sheet, hand cut, formed and soldered. The inlay is a hand-machined section of a skateboard deck. I intended the ring to be reversible displaying the inlay or comfortably hiding it.
A cuff made from hand-cut and formed copper, brass and bronze sheet. I've spent the majority of my winters in the Franconia, NH skiing for the Franconia Ski Club and I was trying to commemorate the iconic and recently fallen, Old Man of the Mountain.
Necklace pendant made of sweat-soldered brass and bronze sheet, held in place by cut and formed copper sheet "hands" soldered to brass and copper tubing. The hands holding the heart symbolize the control that we can have of our own hearts and the hearts of those close to us. I pierced the heart with a 13-point bolt, well-known symbol of the Grateful Dead, a band that I hold close to my heart because of the impact that their music and lyrics have had on my life.
Pendant made from hand-pierced copper sheet. It is roughly two inches in length.
